It was 2008 and my parents' diamond wedding was fast approaching. They had been married for sixty years! It is traditional to give something with diamonds as the theme. However, I was short of money and decided I could not afford real diamonds. What should I do? Then I thought about the song 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star' and realised the stars in the heavens are like diamonds. I also came across a website which sold star names, The Intergalactic Star Database. I had saved enough money to buy a diamond in the sky! I researched and paid for a star name in the M33 galaxy in the constellation Triangulum. My parents subsequently named the star 'The Waltham Star' after the name of their first home in Waltham Avenue, Guildford, Surrey. Its database number is ISD0035144.
