Here are two stories for very young children.
'Hello Ann Elephant, how are you?' says Yooar Dog.
'I am fine,' says Ann Elephant. 'I am here to drink and talk to the fish.'
The fish say to Ann Elephant, 'Where is your friend Aya Giraffe?'
'He is in the forest eating leaves with a friend,' says Ann Elephant to the fish.
'We are swimming and we are happy', say the fish to Yooar Dog and Ann Elephant, 'because Aya Giraffe has a friend.'
'They are in the forest together now, but they come to the lake to drink when they are thirsty,' say the fish.
Aya Giraffe and his friend walk to the lake.
'Ummm! Leaves are tasty and now we are thirsty.' They drink water together.
All the animals join in with a song...
We love the lake and love to walk,
We drink and drink and talk and talk.
'Hello Yooar Dog, how are you today?'
'Oh! Hi Ann Elephant. I'm fine. I like it under this tree because it's dry. That tree over there isn't dry, it's wet.
Yooar Dog sings a song:
It's dry over here but wet over there,
It's dry over here but wet over there,
This tree is dry and that tree is wet,
This tree is dry and that tree is wet.
Ann Elephant said, 'Do you want to go for a swim today?' Yooar Dog looks up at the sky and the rain.
'I think it's too wet and I don't have an umbrella,' said Yooar Dog. He rolls over and closes his eyes.
Ann Elephant said, 'OK, we can go after the rain has stopped.' She lies down next to Yooar Dog and waits for the rain to stop.
